EPHESIANS INDEX
Serious and erudite, not to mention learned, readers please note that I have omitted many Greek words from the text and tried to make the sense complete without, because my scanner cannot read Greek letters, and neither can I. So when you read "the word means..." you can supply the Greek word if you wish from a lexicon or parallel translation. For myself, I'm happy to accept that the Greek word means whatever he says! I can always check if I wish to challenge him. (Webmaster)

among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our
flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature
the children, of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his
great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath
quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved) and hath raised us
up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus : that
in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his
kindness toward us through Jesus Christ. For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God : not of works, lest
